Which one of the two is worse and more dangerous: The madhhab of the Murji’ah or the madhhab of the Khawaarij?
Question:
He says: “Oh virtuous Shaykh, may Allah grant you success! Which one of the two is worse and more dangerous: The madhhab of the Murji’ah or the madhhab of the Khawaarij?”
Answer:
“Both are dangerous. Both are severe. But it may be that the madhhab of the Khawaarij is less evil, because it is closer to distancing oneself from disobedience (ma’asi), being cautious with regards to disobedience (ma’asi), and closer to repentance, because the fear will cause him to repent.
But the madhhab of the murji’ah leads to negligence and being careless about disobedience, and it makes one too lazy to repent, therefore it is more dangerous. Yes.”

يقول: فضيلة الشيخ وفقكم الله. أيهما أشد وأخطر؟ مذهب المرجئة أم مذهب الخوارج؟

كلاهما خطير. كلاهما شديد.ولكن قد يكون مذهب الخوارج أخف لأنه أقرب إلى الإبتعاد عن المعاصي والحذر من المعاصي وأقرب إلى التوبة لإن الخوف يحمله على التوبة. لكن مذهب المرجئة هذا يجر إلى التساهل وعدم المبالات بالمعاصي ويكسل عن التوبة فهو أخطر
