What to say when breaking the fast and when to say it
And from the manners related to fasting, through which the reward increases, is that the worshipper when he breaks his fast says:
ذهب الظمأ وابتلت العروق وثبت الأجر إن شاء الله
Dhahaba az-Zama-u wabtallatil-'Urūq wa Thabatal-Ajru in shā-Allāh
The thirst has gone, the veins are moist, and the reward is certain if Allāh wills.[1]

He should say this O brothers, after breaking the fast, and not before he breaks the fast.
