What should I do if I'm praying sunnah and the Iqaamah is made?
Question:
"If one is making sunnah prayer in the masjid and the iqaamah is called before the sunnah prayer is complete, what should one do?"
Answer:
"If a person is performing an optional prayer when the iqaamah is given for the compulsory prayer, then if he is able to finish it by doing it in a light manner, then he should do so, as long as he is not afraid of missing a part of the prayer with the Imaam. If he fears that he is going to miss a part of the prayer with the Imaam, then he should stop his prayer and join the imaam."
