The times for saying the restricted takbīr during the days of Dhul-Hijjah

And as for the restricted takbīr[1], then that is (to be done) from from the Fajr prayer on the Day of 'Arafah (the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah) up until the 'Asr prayer on the last day of the days of tashrīq (the thirteenth of Dhul-Hijjah). It is a restricted takbīr to after the five prayers on the Day of 'Arafah, five prayers on the Day of 'Eid (the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah), five prayers on the eleventh, five prayers on the twelfth, and five prayers on the thirteenth, altogether twenty five prayers. It is recommended that one says the takbīr after them, meaning after one has said: three times astaghfirullāh (I seek Allāh's forgiveness), Allāhumma Anta-s-Salām wa minka-s-Salām tabārakta yā Dhal-Jalāli wal-Ikrām (O Allāh You are As-Salām (the One Who is free from all defects and deficiencies) and from You is all peace, blessed are You, Possessor of majesty and honour) , then one pronounces the takbīr. And by that this takbīr will be like the tasbīh (saying SubhānAllāh) and the tahmīd (saying Alhamdulillāh) which are recommended every time after the prayer."
