Questioner: We have a shaykh in Egypt, whose name is Hishaam al-Bayalee[1], and he claims to be a student of yours and he says: The one who performs Shirk al-Akbar remains a Muslim as long as he is ignorant, and he (Hishaam al-Bayalee) attributes this statement to you as well; is this correct?

Shaykh: He’s lying.

Questioner: Okay.
