Some are of the same nature as that of the swine
The great scholar Ibn ul-Qayyim (رحمه الله) mentions:
"Some are of the same nature as that of the swine who does not stop with the good food, but when a human finishes relieving himself, then he hastens towards his excrements. A lot of people are like this...
When they hear about your qualities or they see with their own eyes that these outweigh your mistakes; they neither remember this, nor do they spread this to others, and it does not suit them.
However, for the slightest mistake or possible blunder; they feel in their element and attain joy in their hearts."
