Shaykh Ehsan Elahi Zaheer was a Mujahid!
The presenter:
"Tomorrow on the Day of Jumu 'ah, the funeral prayer in absentia (in absence of the deceased's body) for His Eminence, Shaykh Ehsan Elahi Zaheer, may Allah have mercy upon him, is going to be held in the Mosque of the Industrial complex of Al-Jidd on the road leading to [...speech not clear]. We kindly request from you and the people who are present, to ask Allah to have mercy upon him and to supplicate (to Allah) on his behalf for forgiveness and mercy, and that you mention something from his biography and give information about his life to the audience, because the majority from amongst them don't know him very well."
Shaykh Ibn Baaz, may Allah have mercy upon him:
"[...speech not clear ] Our brother, Shaykh Hāfidh, Ehsan, is well known amongst the best of the people of knowledge. He has many writings in refutation of the Shī'ah, in refutation of the paganistic Barelvi sect, and in refutation of other than them from the groups of disbelief and misguidance. He is therefore a Mujāhid, may Allah have mercy upon him. He graduated from the Islamic University in Madīnah and was very busy in calling to Allah in Pakistan and other than it, [...speech not clear] in calling to Allah, teaching and refuting the enemies of Islam. He has made remarkable achievements and has precious and beneficial writings. May Allah have mercy upon him and honor his resting place."
Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez bin 'Abdullah bin Baaz, may Allah have mercy upon him.

الشيخ ابن باز رحمه الله: [...كلام غير واضح] أخونا الشيخ حافظ إحسان معروف عند خواص أهل العلم فله مؤلفات كثيرة في الرد على الشيعة والرد على البريلوية الوثنية والرد على غيرهم من طوائف الكفر والضلال، فهو مجاهد رحمه الله وقد تخرج من الجامعة اﻹسلامية في المدينة واشتغل في الدعوة إلى الله في باكستان وغيرها [...كلام غير واضح] في الدعوة إلى الله والتعليم والرد على خصوم اﻹسلام، فله مآثر جميلة ومؤلفات قيمة نافعة فرحمه الله و اكرم مثواه.
