Make a schedule for Ramadan and purify and set your intention correctly
From the ways of how to anticipate the month of Ramadan is to arrange your time and lay out a schedule within which you use your time for the obedience of Allāh The Mighty and Majestic. This time is for the predawn meal. This time is for breaking the fast. This time is for praying the tarāwīh prayer, and this time is for reciting the Qur'ān. Therefore fix up your schedule so that you may incorporate in it all the different acts of obedience.
And similarly from the different acts of obedience with which we may anticipate the month of Ramadan is to set our intentions in order to be of those who have a pure intention in the month of Ramadan.
You eat in this precious month at the time of breaking the fast and at the time of the predawn meal, thus your intention should be to seek by that nearness to Allāh The Mighty and Majestic. Your sleep with which your body gets rest in order to carry out the acts of obedience to Allāh; you should seek through it nearness to The Lord of Honour and Majesty. Your going out, coming back and your sitting down; you should turn all of these acts into acts of obedience to Allāh the Mighty and Majestic, because you use them to strengthen your body for the obedience of The Lord of Honour and Majesty.

الشيخ سعد الشثري حفظه الله: هكذا من طرائق استقبال شهر رمضان أن تهيئ أوقاتك وان ترتب جدولا تستعمل فيه اوقاتك في طاعة الله عز وجل؛ هذا وقت للسحور وهذا وقت للإفطار وهذا وقت لأداء صلاة التراويح وهذا وقت لقراءة القرآن. فرتب جدولك لتدخل فيه انواع الطاعات. هكذا من انواع الطاعة التي يمكن ان نستقبل بها شهر رمضان ان نهيئ نياتنا لنكون من المخلصين في شهر رمضان. انت في هذا الشهر الكريم تأكل في وقت الافطار ووقت السحور ينبغي بك ان تنوي بذلك التقرب لله عز وجل. نومك الذي يرتاح به بدنك لتؤدي طاعة الله ينبغي بك ان تتقرب به لرب العزة والجلال. ذهابك ايابك جلوسك ينبغي ان تجعل هذه الاعمال كلها طاعة لله عز وجل لانك تتوسل بها الى ان تقوي بدنك على طاعة رب العزة والجلال
