Is there a condition regarding the thickness of the socks when wiping over them?

"Is there a condition regarding the thickness of the socks when wiping over them? If so, how thick should the socks be?"
Answer:
"Yes, that is a condition. The socks that the person is wearing must be thick, such that you cannot see the feet beneath it i.e. the colour of the skin beneath it. If you can see it through the socks due to how thin it is, then it is not permissible to wipe over it."
