Does the mere utterance of La Ilaha ila Allah suffice to go to Paradise?
Question:
"He says: “Some students of knowledge say that the one who says La Ilaha ila Allah and then leaves off the actions which Allah (تعالى) has made obligatory upon him while he is capable of doing them and subsequently dies, that he falls under the Will of Allah and under the narrations of ash-Shafaa’a (intercession).”"
Answer:
“That is not correct! That is not correct. The fact that he merely says La Ilaha ila Allah…The Munafiqoon also said La Ilaha ila Alah, Muhammadun Rasulullah, and it did not benefit them. Yes.”
