An individual used to be upon the methodology of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah, but is now upon the creed of the raafidah and is insulting the companions. Does he exit from the fold of Islam?
Question:
“I know an individual who used to be upon the methodology of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah, he then after that came to be upon the creed of the raafidah and is insulting the companions. Does he exit from the fold of Islam?”
Answer:
“Yes. If he commits a nullifier from the nullifiers of Islam, he exits from Islam. Insulting the companions and hating them, this proves the disbelief.
{…that He may enrage the disbelievers with them.}
Allah the Majestic and Most High says when mentioning the companions at the end of Surah Al-Fath:
{…that He may enrage the disbelievers with them.} [Surah al-Fath 48:29]
Therefore the one who insults them out of hatred and hostility towards them; this is a proof for his disbelief. Yes.”

السؤال: أعرف شخصا كان على منهج أهل السنة والجماعة، ثم أصبح بعد ذلك على عقيدة الرافضة ويسب الصحابة، فهل يخرج من دائرة الإسلام؟
الجواب: نعم. اذا ارتكب ناقضا من نواقض الاسلام فانه يخرج من الاسلام. سب الصحابة وبغضهم هذا يدل على الكفر. ليغيظ بهم الكفار. قال الله جل وعلا لما ذكر الصحابة في اخر سورة الفتح قال: ليغيظ بهم الكفار. فالذي يسبهم بغضا لهم وحقدا عليهم هذا يدل على كفره. نعم
