A man slaughters for other than Allah. Is he excused for his ignorance?
Question:
“A man slaughters for other than Allah. Is he excused for his ignorance?”
Answer:
“The one who slaughters for other than Allah, he is a disbeliever in Allah. Because all the types of worship are not to be directed except to Allah. All of them are not to be directed except to Allah, the Almighty and Majestic. And the one who sees him doing it or knows that he does it has to invite him, and strive to lead him out of darkness into the light. And strive to rescue him from the disaster he has fallen into. And this is the most important thing which a human can give to his relative or non-relative. Because the Messenger, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wassallam, said: “That Allah guides a person through you, is better for you than red camels.” And he said: “The one who calls to guidance, for him there is a reward like the reward for those that follow him, and that will not diminish anything of their rewards. And those who call to misguidance, will bear the sin like the sin of those who follow him, without this diminishing anything of their sins.”"
