Regarding the Hawd on the Day of Judgement
Question:
"He asks in one of his questions about the Hawd to which people will be coming (on the Day of Judgement). What is it?"
Answer:
"The Hawd to which people will be coming is a lake (or large cistern) which will be in the place of gathering on the Day of Judgement. It belongs to the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him and his followers. It's length is a month's (journey) and its width is a month's (journey). Its drinking vessels are like the stars of the sky in abundance and beauty.[1]
And its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, and has a fragrance better than musk.[2]
Two pipes flow into it from Al-Kauthar (a river) [3], which is in Paradise, and which the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him and his followers, has been granted, as in His (Allah's), Exalted is He, statement:
{Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad, may peace and blessings be upon him) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise); therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only). For he who makes you angry (O Muhammad, may peace and blessings be upon him), - he will be cut off (from every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter).} [Surah Al-Kauthar 108:1-3]
And as for it's effect; then whosoever drinks from it one single sip will never be thirsty thereafter again.
Oh Allah, please make us from those who will drink from it!
The questioner: "Aameen!"
The Shaykh: "Oh Allah please make us from those who will drink from it!"
The questioner: "Aameen!"
The Shaykh: "Oh Allah, please make us from those who will drink from it, oh Lord of the worlds!"
The Questioner: "Aameen, may Allah reward you with good!"
